342533Many Biltmore Park faculty and students have told us that they want more librarian help in Asheville, and we’ve been thinking creatively about the best ways to deliver it. Our librarians worked with Kevan Frazier, executive director of the Biltmore Park instructional site, to establish a library computer station in the third floor Student Collaborative Area. Students may use the space to chat via text with a librarian on WCU’s Cullowhee campus. A Skype video chat service is also being piloted. Some in-person office hours with a librarian also have been provided at Biltmore Park during the fall semester. Traffic and feedback are being evaluated to determine the best times and days of the week for this service in the future.
