Hunter Library Saturday hours are now 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., a slight change from previous hours of noon to 7 p.m.
Mark Stoffan, Head of Technology, Access, and Special Collections, initiated the change because library patrons were frequently waiting outside the building at noon on Saturdays. According to entrance gate count information, traffic decreases at approximately 6 p.m. this day, suggesting earlier patron demand for library services. Hunter Library closes at 6 p.m on Friday as well, providing an opportunity to standardize weekend hours.
