WCU students, faculty, and staff are invited to tour Hunter Library’s new Scholar Studio Wednesday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. during the grand opening ceremony on the library main floor. A welcome address and ribbon cutting will kick off the event and attendees will enjoy refreshments and view demonstrations of Studio services and equipment.
The Scholar Studio is a sand-box style space designed to help students, faculty, and staff complete the research process by creating and sharing scholarly products. The space features:
- Maker equipment including a laminator, button maker, die-cut machine, plotter printer, and vinyl cutter
Audiovisual recording & editing hardware and software- Virtual reality stations
- Meeting spaces
- Job preparation resources
