| Find books, streaming films, journals, newspapers, and other resources free via Hunter Library! Use the search box on the library website to search by title, author, or topic. Your library access includes Libby audiobooks, e-books, magazines and digital subscriptions to the New York Times and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Your CatCard is your library card, and you can check out as many books as you need! Access any online resources by logging in with your WCU credentials. Through our Rapido interlibrary loan service, Hunter Library can borrow materials from other libraries on your behalf at no charge to you. Construction for the new stairway and quad outside Hunter Library, Stillwell, and Apodaca will continue through December 31, 2026.
Hunter Library, The Mountain Heritage Center, The Coulter Faculty Commons, and the Technology Commons are open. Java City is closed.
Please use the temporary entrance on Central Drive, near the Mountain Heritage Center’s entrance. The sidewalk from Buzzard’s Roost is for emergency exit only.
