Hunter Library’s newest digital collection highlights Champion Fibre Company and the town of Canton in Haywood County, N.C. The growing collection includes over 1,100 photographs of the plant facilities and workforce as well as everyday life for community members. The archive also include oral histories of former mill workers and Canton residents as well as issues of the company’s internal newsletter, The Log, published from 1914 to the late 1960s.
